Who we are 🙂
Hi, we’re RORA 👋 - a new type of team for a new world of work. Our people split their time between some of the coolest startups around (ManyPets, HonestMobile, Anthropic, etc.) - on a fractional or full time basis. We also come together every week to learn, grow and have fun. Over the past five years we’ve built a great business in FinOps - reinventing how startups do finance teams and hiring over 100+ finance pro’s to support startups in establishing and running their finance operations. What we’re looking for 🔎
Our Talent Acquisition Manager is heading off on maternity leave, so we’re looking for someone to keep things running smoothly while she’s away. This is a part-time (2.5 days per week) maternity cover role for approximately 10–12 months, starting in January 2026.
We’ve built a model our buyers love, but we can only keep growing if we continue bringing in great people. We need someone confident as a 360 recruiter, comfortable working across both permanent and contract roles. You’ll mostly be hiring for three core finance profiles, with the occasional HQ role. You’ll own the whole process: from sourcing and screening through to assessments, interviews and offers. You’ll be part of a small HQ team, reporting into our Head of Operations.
Responsibilities in the role 👩💻
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screening, scheduling and ensuring new joiners land on time.
- Proactively build pipelines - headhunting and engaging with candidates, sharing our proposition and assessing fit.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pool we can tap into for mostly contract roles.
About you 🙋
- At least 4 years experience working in talent acquisition or recruitment roles, with experience of headhunting using LinkedIn Recruiter
- A background in startups or professional services recruitment is a strong plus
- Confident engaging with senior-level candidates (e.g. Head of Finance)
- Familiarity with TeamTailor is helpful, but not essential
